Objectives
We at Aim High Training our aims and objectives are clear, we want to provide accurate and professional training to our trainnies to ensure they have all the knowledge on how to pass their level 3 award in emergency first aid at work. The first aid course that we provide ensures that you will have the ability to perform under pressure first aid within the workplace to meet the workplace requirements. The 3 day course we provide makes sure that you are ready to undertake any task in an emergency. This course is more detailed due to the larger context and information which needs to be taught and processed.
Course Outline
The duties and obligations of a First Aider
¬Evaluating an incident.
¬Having control over the situation where there is an unresponsive casualty.
¬Having control over the situation where there is a casualty and their breathing isn't normal.
¬Having control over the situation where there is a casualty and they are choking.
¬Having control over the situation where there is a casualty and they are bleeding from an external injury.
¬Having control over the situation where there is a casualty and they have minor injuries.
¬You will have to lead a secondary study (survey).
¬Directing emergency treatment to a victim with damage to bones
¬Directing emergency treatment to a victim with muscles and joints.
¬Directing first aid to a victim with suspected head and spinal wounds.
¬Controlling emergency treatment to a casualty with suspected chest wounds.
¬Overseeing medical aid to a victim with burns and scalds.
¬Overseeing medical aid to a setback with unexpected poisoning
¬Overseeing medical aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis.
¬Directing emergency treatment to a victim with a major illness.

Once a learner as attended the course and completed all the training requirements as well as completing a multiple choice test, the learner will receive a certified and nationally recognised level 3 emergency first aid at work certificate; a first aider ID card is given to show as evidence that the learner has successfully passed their qualification , this ID card is only valid for 3 years, therefore you would need to renew it after that period of time.
