Objectives
This qualification is designed for those trainee teachers or individuals who want to become trainers to become more independent and be able to teach a wider range of information in different contexts. If you are a teacher who wants to advance in your career path then taking this course would be very ideal because it enhances your knowledge and makes you more desirable to an employer. Level 5 diploma in Education and Training is reasonable for teachers, coaches and mentors working in further training, adult and network learning or work-based tutelage amongst the public, private, volitional or any commune network associations. It allows teachers to educate individuals, in a wider scope of settings and requires perception and evaluation of training. Schooling practices is a necessity of the accomplishment of the course.
Course Outline
- Depending on the specific subject you want to further your career in you must show evidence that you have qualifications in that area.
- Must provide photographic evidence of your identification (passport, driving license etc.)
- Before applying you must have previous experience of teaching, a required 100 hours of teaching is needed, and a reference from the organisation is required as evidence.
- As a basis you will need at a minimum of a level 2 in English, Mathematics & ICT, as well as having these qualifications you must have good english skills verbally and when writing, also having a good knowledge on how to conduct online research is very beneficial.
- As a future educator you cannot with no exceptions have a criminal background as it will appear as a vulnerable situation when education individuals especially children.
- As you will be working within the UK you need to provide evidence of your eligibility to work in the UK. This course can last up to between 9 - 12 months depending on how you perform throughout the course.
